buttons

buttons is a regular on IRC who is usually found in the evenings, since high school takes up most of her morning and afternoon. Of course, since the evening and late night (and early morning) are the times of life in IRC, she doesn't miss much because she goes to school.

buttons is currently a senior at Jim Thorpe Area Senior High School which is in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, if you know where that is. She has large amounts of responsibility at her school, especially since she is co-editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, the Olympiad, in addition to being captain of the majorette squad and participating in Students Against Drunk Driving, as well as in being on the yearbook staff and singing in chorus as an alto. And, on top of it all, she's a Senior Girl Scout. It's amazing that she has time to IRC, but she does. It's even more amazing that she has the time and always manages to be nice, even when others would lose their temper.

And even though she has a full schedule, she reads, and writes, specifically poetry, although she does prose on occasion.
