Submission Guidelines

This site is designed for the literature and art, and other artistic pursuits, of the regulars of warped.net. Only submissions will be posted from those people. (For the time being, a regular is someone who I have seen at least once on warped.net. I know it's pretty arbitrary, but it'll have to work for now.)

All submissions should be sent to webmaster@emeraldsanctuary.com. The submitted material should either be sectioned off in the e-mail or sent as an attachment. Written submissions should be sent in plain text format. Either way, in the e-mail, I need to know what your IRC nick or other such handle is. Untraceable works will not be posted.

Please keep all submitted material in good taste. Any work I judge lacking in taste, especially those that are excessively sexually explicit or violent, will not be posted.

Also, if I don't post something of yours, DO NOT FLAME ME! That will not succeed in doing anything more than weighing the odds against me posting any of your future submissions.

If you submit or have submitted four works, please select the four that will appear on the main page. (The idea is not to intimidate anyone from not submitting.) Any other works submitted will be posted to be your index page as well as to the author and title indices. Please cooperate with me here.

If you wish, you may write your own bio for The Emerald Sanctuary, or you can let me write it. A bio is a brief synopsis of who you are. For an idea of a reasonable length, please see any bios already written and posted.

No matter what you send me, please allow up to a week for it to be posted. Also, if something I do is in error, please e-mail me, but you may still have to wait the week. I have classes and other obligations, and I may not be able to get to it. (Also please keep in mind that typing for the span of an entire evening is not much fun, especially when I get hungry, since we're not allowed to eat in the computer labs.)

All of that said, I hope you enjoy what has been written and I hope you contribute.
