Storms rage over the plain,
Vile tempests bent on
Blocking the light of
The sun and stars, and
Substituting dusk
For birght day, lightning
For starlight. Within
Myself, these storms do
Their damage. They bring
Uncertainty and
Doubt where I had hope
And faith and dreams so
Important to me.
Yet, even amidst such
Dreary conditions,
I know that the storms
Will subside. I know
That I shall see the
Starlight once again.
