Mystical chandeliers
Suspended by diamond
And sapphire wires from the
Gothic vaulted ceiling
Illuminating the
Black marbled floor where they
Converse amongs themselves
And listen to music
Played on several
Medeival electric
Violins and cellos,
And they dance to the soft
Rhythm, including it
In their all too formal
Waltz, for which they are well
Dressed, the men in their
Dressy Victorian
Armani suits with shoes
Made by some local serf
Laboring under some
Feudal lord, and ladies
Clad in gowns of silk and
Gossamer, with elbow
Length gloves made fully of
Dragon leather or hide
Of a gryphon, watched by
The uniformed guards with
A fleur-de-lis on their
Chests, and rapiers by their
Waists, where the belts also
Hold pistols designed and
Built in Berlin or in
Tel Aviv, or even
In some wizard's tower,
To keep the unwanted
Out or maybe to keep
The wanted in, but still,
The music just plays on.
