Typed words shwon on paper by
But streams of ink molded
Into letters on the
Once unblemished paper.
Words written from the soul,
Verbalized suffering,
Expressions of such pain
That no one should endure,
Yet the pain is well known
To the poet's soul and
To my own. My soul cries
At seeing another
Knowing such anguishing
Pain so intimately.
No one should feel such pain,
No one should be so sad,
No one should give up hope,
No one should ever feel
So alone, unwanted,
Unneeded, abandoned.
Such darkness should not be
In the soul of such a
Person who tries so hard
To bring light to others.
My soul laments seeing
Such darkness there. I want
To change that so much, but
I am afraid I lack
The strength to bring light and
Not open myself more
To the painful darkness.
But I want to bring light,
I want to help, I want...
