Alone I stand in the storm.
Alone I call out to her,
But I know it is hopeless.
At this point, all is futile.
I know no sanctuary
From this pain I feel in my
Heart, the pain of knowing love
Unrequited. To me, she
Is now so far out of reach.
Once my heart shined with the glow
Of a love that seemed to be
Mutual, but now it kills
The light, radiating the
Deep darkness of sorrow and
Pain, just because I know that
Her heart shall never love me.
I want to cry, but even
Tears cannot wash away this
Darkness or even ease this
Pain. I want to destroy, to
Hurt something, but that cannot
Do me any good. I am
Trapped, I am destroyed because
My heart fell in love with her,
Because my heart insisted
On hoping that one day in
The future, she and I would
Share the bond that shall not be.
