Deep dark shadows concealing
True emotion, the people
Hiding inside them and they
Hide behind their ivory masks
In a grotesque costume fete
That they call life, playing a
Dark game with their ebon dice,
A game of continuous
Bluff and deceit, where truth and
Honesty are taboo, where
People frolic even if
They are crying inside -- no
One wants to hear their sorrows,
And no one is caring or
Willing to lend a shoulder.

And I turn away from this
Travesty of the human
Heart and of most sacred Love.
