Dreams realized,
Dreams deferred, and
Dreams vaporized.
Is this all that
Creates, defines,
And describes me?
I am a dreamer,
My head and heart
And mind and soul
Lost in ideals
And dreams and hopes
Far attached from
Reality,
A world apart
And separate
From that which is
Solid and real.
I am but a
Lone dreamer, but
Only a soul
Lost, unable
To interact
With the real world,
Not a part of
My dream world but
Still joined to it,
A world in which
Success shall not
Even be mine,
A world in which
My destiny
Is eternal
Unhappiness, for
Some dreams, sadly,
Can never know
The light of day.
