We're following up on
the greatest moments of out singular histories
here
shadowing the movements,
this is not a test but
a new kind of order of things
We read our early childhoods
from forgotten diaries, laughing over them,
unspeakable.
at the moment of transfer from mind to paper
"children say the--", interrupted with laughter
we're embarrassed, as if the recall of old secrets
transferred from hidden to revealed
and we rethink our own drastic measures
steps taken then that are unnecessary
in our present tense situation
placing old thoughts into nostalgia circles,
laughing at distant editions of ourselves
and following up on them when we learn
how to counteract their measures.
