And I intoxicate myself
with its presence.
A few soft steps
to our bedroom
I peer at where you once laid.
Beautiful memories
of our love making
bores a silver tear
traveling to my gentle smile.
And while your aroma
is still present on my being
only one smell proves
more potent
one that puts all others to shame,
and exists with a serious power
the undefeatable smell
of our love,
that crawls amongst every inch
of our home
and lives forever in our hearts.
